Essex Sells One Logan Square Asset, Lists Another

Essex Realty Group recently sold one Logan Square property and listed another. Principals Jim Darrow and Jordan Gottlieb brokered the sale of a Logan Square mixed-use building at 2834 W. Fullerton Ave. for $1,761,000 to an undisclosed buyer.

The out-of-state seller owned the property for more than 15 years. “The continued growth of Logan Square and premium location of this property drove a very competitive sales process and pricing for this building,” said Gottlieb. “The seller capitalized on long-term growth in this market and the buyer hopes to continue to do so going forward.”

Gottlieb is handling the listing for a nine-unit multifamily property 2313 N. Albany Ave. in Logan Square, which is listed for $1,995,000. “The building is in great shape due to dedicated long term family ownership, but also allows for a new investor to further modernize the property,” Gottlieb said.
