Demand for Owner-Occupied Assets Fuels Oak Brook Sale

Cawley Chicago recently completed the sale of Midwest Plaza South, a 57,832-square-foot office building at 2021 Midwest Rd. in the DuPage County suburb of Oak Brook, IL. The three-story office property was sold for $5,750,000.

Ryan Freed and Rawly Lantz with Cawley’s suburban office team represented the seller, Chesapeake Associates Limited, IL. The buyer, BBI Property Management Inc., was represented by Dan McKay with McKay Investments and will be occupying a portion of the building.

“The continued high demand for owner-occupied assets has allowed financially stable owners the ability to exit at a price that meets expectations with a below-market vacancy,” said Freed.
