IMC has expanded its office lease at EQ Office's Willis Tower to 160,000 square feet

Continuing-Care Operator Vi Relocates to Willis Tower

Savills completed a 30,405-square-foot lease on behalf of Vi, a national developer, owner and operator of high-end continuing care retirement communities, at the Willis Tower, currently undergoing a $500-million makeover. Vi will move from its current space at 71 S. Wacker Dr. in early 2020.

“The West Loop continues to attract tenants from a wide range of industries,” said Savills vice chairman Lisa Davidson. “Vi’s move further demonstrates that longstanding, forward-thinking companies are interested in redeveloped buildings like Willis Tower for their dynamic atmosphere, amenities and location.”

Davidson and Savills Midwest region lead Joe Learner advised Vi on the transaction. Senior managing director Rich Dale and director Loredana Perri, members of the firm’s project management practice, are overseeing the office build-out.

Nikki Kern, Jamey Dix and JD Parcheta at Telos Group represented the tower’s owner, EQ Office.
