Solana Beach Site Acquired for MXU

San Diego-based RAF Pacific Group acquired a 40,000-square-foot land parcel in San Diego’s Solana Beach submarket for $5.5 million from an undisclosed private owner. The firm plans to develop a 26,000-square-foot mixed-use project with restaurants, retail, office and multifamily.

The fully-entitled parcel, at 330 S. Cedros Ave. on the former site of Cedros Gardens, is located within the rapidly growing Cedros Design District. The project will include 3,200 square feet of restaurant space, 5,000 square feet of retail, 8,000 square feet of office and eight multifamily units, all within a walkable, centrally-located urban setting.

RAF Pacifica Group’s Adam Robinson says, “This site is a rare find in the current market,” and is an opportunity “to create a true lifestyle destination.”

The Cedros Avenue project is expected to break ground in 2017, with an estimated completion date in 2018.
