James Malone Returns to JLL After Stints at Colliers & Brookfield
Commercial real estate veteran James Malone has returned to JLL as Executive Vice President in Los Angeles. He adds more than two decades of expertise in real estate brokerage leadership, agency leasing, tenant representation, corporate services, real estate development and law.
The move follows a two-year stint as Senior Managing Director at Colliers International and a 4-½ -year period serving as Vice President of Leasing at Brookfield Properties. Previously, Malone spent a decade at JLL as a Senior Vice President and National Director.
The commercial real estate advisor brings experience in portfolio strategies, space acquisitions, dispositions, occupancy analysis, and cost savings strategies. He’s developed leasing strategies and marketing campaigns for institutional owners of trophy assets and has executed numerous complex real estate transactions.
Malone led seven Colliers brokerage offices in SoCal, overseeing the activities of roughly 90 real estate professionals. The former UCLA football player joined Brookfield in 2013 and handled landlord negotiations for its DTLA portfolio.
