Canyon, Paragon JV Bringing First Ever Trader Joe’s to La Habra

Paragon Commercial Group, LLC signed a lease with Trader Joe’s to bring a new, roughly 15,000-square-foot grocery store to La Habra, CA.  The retailer’s first store in the city will be located on a 5.9-acre site at 2101 W. Imperial Hwy.

Paragon’s Erwin Bucy says, “Trader Joe’s is clearly a top-tier grocer based right here in Southern California, and has been an excellent partner to work with on this redevelopment. We’re proud to bring this iconic California brand to La Habra and to the many residents of Fullerton, La Mirada, Whittier, La Habra Heights, and other nearby communities where this will be the closest Trader Joe’s location.”

Paragon acquired the former Vons Supermarket site at Beach Boulevard in September 2018 through its JV with the Canyon Catalyst Fund, CalPERS’ real estate emerging manager program managed by Canyon Partners Real Estate. The store is currently under construction and set to open this month.

Connect Bay Area is coming up July 18, 2019 at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco. Get more information, and register to attend on this link.
