Aecom Relocates Global HQ to Downtown Los Angeles
Aecom plans to relocate its global headquarters from Century City to Downtown Los Angeles at 300 S. Grand Ave. The infrastructure consulting firm will take an unspecified amount of space at Rising Realty Partners’ and Colony Capital’s One Cal Plaza, a more than one-million-square-foot office building on Bunker Hill.
Aecom will close its offices at 1999 Avenue of the Stars and consolidate its headquarters and corporate employees into existing Aecom offices in the 42-story DTLA tower. The Fortune 500 firm’s consolidation move will take effect early next year.
Aecom’s Troy Rudd says, “We are continuing to prioritize our time and capital towards delivering on our commitment to our stakeholders and optimizing our real estate portfolio is a key driver of achieving these objectives.” Rudd notes the company seeks to continue its transformation to “a higher-margin, lower-risk professional services firm.”
JLL’s Josh Wrobel, Tim Miller and Dana Vargas handle leasing for the property.
