Real estate investment firm and developer DivcoWest has announced the topping off of a 480,000-square-foot life sciences property at the 43-acre Cambridge Crossing mixed-use neighborhood at the intersection of the cities of Boston, Cambridge and Somerville.
Located at 250 Water St., biopharmaceutical firm Bristol Myers Squibb has preleased 360,000 square feet at the building, which is slated to be completed in the first quarter of 2022.
Cambridge Crossing is slated to consist of 2 million square feet of laboratory and office space, 2.4 million square feet of residential space and 100,000 square feet of retail space. The project is connected to two stops on the MBTA Green Line. Additional life sciences users at Cambridge Crossing are planned to include Sanofi and Cerevel Therapeutics.
