Colliers | U.S. has hired John Butterworth as managing director and head of urban leasing in the firm’s Boston office.

Butterworth brings more than 20 years of experience to his new position and has spent the last 15 years with CBRE/New England as executive vice president and partner with the Urban Advisory & Transaction Services team.

“I would be remiss if I did not recognize and thank my former partners and colleagues at CBRE/New England; it was a wonderful run,” said Butterworth. “With that said, I am excited to start this new chapter of my career and having the opportunity to lead a team at Colliers where there is so much positive momentum certainly adds to that excitement. I am invigorated by the firm’s leadership, culture, and existing talent and look forward to bringing continued best-in-class service to my clients.”
