Bob Robers and Brian Monaghan, based in Atlanta, formed their partnership in 2017, combining their unique logistics and financial skills and 45 years of experience. Their national practice is diversified across multiple industrial sectors including e-commerce, life sciences, cold storage, packaging and third-party logistics providers.
The team represented Safavieh on a 1.4-million-square-foot build-to-suit at the company’s Tradeport East development in Midway (Savannah), GA, with Hooker Furniture Corporation leasing 800,000 square feet and Safavieh occupying the balance of the building. Additionally, they negotiated a 469,875-square-foot BTS purchase from Duke Realty in Indianapolis. These transactions represent a further expansion of Safavieh’s e-commerce network and included site selection, construction oversight and development advisory.
The team also advised Agile Cold Storage in the site selection for its first two facilities in Georgia. Each of these facilities will be approximately 150,000 square feet and bring more than 170 jobs to Georgia. The projects involved extensive site selection advisory and incentives negotiation with the help of Amy Gerber of Cushman & Wakefield’s national Incentives practice.
