Seth Grossman has been running the West Coast for Meridian Capital Group since 2011. Since that time, he and his team have closed in excess of $9 billion of loans spanning 500-plus transactions. One unique attribute to this team of seven is the diversity of transactions on which they finance and focus. Deal sizes in any given year consistently range from as small as $1 million to $2 million through as large as several hundred million. There is not a niche or a unique deal type that is the primary focus; instead the emphasis is people and capital.
The driver for the office growth comes from constant communication with lenders, owners and brokers, keeping a pulse on as much captive capital as possible and trends in the capital markets. The goal of the team is to know at any given time who the right lenders are for whatever projects need financing, be it land, construction, bridge or permanent debt, all of which are regular focuses for the office, while product types span multifamily, office, industrial, retail, storage, hotel and other esoteric uses.

In those positions, she worked in conjunction with chief executive officers and chief marketing officers to create corporate messaging, cohesive branding standards, strategic marketing plans and thought pieces. Brown is a frequent speaker at industry events and an editing adjunct professor for an online course. She has a master’s degree in mass communications from San Jose State University.
