Remedy Medical Completes 113K-SF MOB in Newnan

Private healthcare property owner Remedy Medical Properties has completed Piedmont Medical Plaza II, a five-story, 113,000-square-foot medical office building in Newnan.

The new medical office building (MOB) is on the Piedmont Newnan Hospital campus in Coweta County, a growing region of southwest Atlanta. The new outpatient care facility, the second MOB on the Newnan campus, will enable Piedmont Healthcare to provide an even wider range of services there, keeping patients close to home for care. After breaking ground on the MOB in September 2019, the facility construction was completed in December 2020 and a phased move-in of Piedmont services was completed at the end of January 2021. The property is located at 795 Poplar Road.

“This beautiful new MOB will allow Piedmont to continue expanding their healthcare delivery model to this growing and vibrant region,” said Peter Westmeyer, CEO at Remedy. “The spirit of cooperation and flexibility of all project members throughout the construction process, in the face of the pandemic and other assorted challenges, has made all the difference in bringing this important new project to the community, both on time and on budget.”
