RCP Breaks Ground on 296-Unit MF Project in Huntsville

RCP Cos. has broken ground on the first residential building in Huntsville’s MidCity District, a $1 billion mixed-use project underway at the intersection of University Drive and Research Park Boulevard.

The property, Metronome at MidCity, is a five-story, multifamily residential building that will feature 296 apartment homes with retail and restaurant space on the ground floor. The property is located at the intersection of MidCity Drive and Stax Street. The MidCity district includes more than 140 acres of retailers, restaurants, entertainment venues, office space, outdoor recreation, and a 40-acre park with a kayak pond and a trail for biking and running.

Lincoln Property Co. will manage residential leasing and property management, with pre-leasing beginning late 2022. The project is slated to be completed by mid-2023. Metronome was designed by Memphis-based architectural designer Looney Ricks Kiss (LRK) and the general contractor is Chicago-based ARCO/Murray.
