Duke Realty Secures 337K-SF Lease with Ashley Furniture in East Point

Domestic-focused industrial-only property REIT Duke Realty has secured a lease extension with tenant Ashley Furniture Industries in East Point near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The national home goods retailer has occupied space in Duke Realty’s Camp Creek Business Center since 2016 and will move to a larger warehouse with 336,960 square feet of space in the same development park at 4505 North Commerce Drive.

Duke Realty’s Camp Creek development in East Point is 98 percent leased. In total, Duke Realty boasts more than 13 million square feet of space in the Atlanta market and continues to expand its portfolio.

“At Ashley Furniture, we are always looking for suitable space where we can easily move and store our inventory while meeting tight distribution deadlines and streamlining delivery to our customers,” said Jeff Maris, director of real estate at Ashley Furniture. “Four years ago, we found the space at Camp Creek Business Center and our needs were met. In 2020, as we experienced increased demand and company growth, Duke Realty was able to help us find additional space very quickly and with limited disruption.”
